Hand washing awareness poster launched - 12-12-2009

Abeceder is pleased to announce the launch of a new safety poster that highlights the importance of regular hand washing in the battle to prevent the spread of infectious diseases like the H1N1 virus. Washing your hands after using the toilet or before preparing or eating food should be automatic, says Abeceder managing director Michael Millward, but to prevent the spread of infectious diseases we should be washing our hands on a regular basis throughout the day. Coughing and sneezing can deposit germs on to our hands, and every time we touch a surface like a door handle or computer keyboard we leave some of those germs for other people to pick up. Hands should be washed on a regular basis throughout the day for a minimum of 20 seconds using soap and warm water. More Information Contact Abeceder
